World Team Qualifying, plus Tour of America Kickoff Draws Athletes from All Over!
Carolina Beach, NC- Wrestlers from more than 25 states plus Barbados and Jamaica are set to attend the 2023 USMC/USA Beach Nationals set for May 19-20 in Carolina Beach.

Athletes of all ages are invited to try the fastest growing international style of wrestling in the family friendly surroundings of Carolina Beach, NC. Youth wrestlers 6U-Junior as well as Masters division athletes will be grouped using the Madison weight system. This means NO WEIGHT CUTTING. Just show up and wrestle!
U17, U20, and Senior men and women will compete using UWW approved weight classes (16U and Jr. athletes are also eligible for the U17 , U20, and Senior division and can compete in both if they choose)*. Top finishers in these divisions will qualify to represent Team USA at the World Beach Wrestling Championships September 7-10 in Constanta, Romania.
*Please note that all athletes competing for world team slots in the U17, U20 and Senior divisions MUST weigh-in on Saturday morning.
Athletes of all ages will earn points in the Beach Wrestling Tour of America Series. Beach Nationals is the first event in the series that spans coast to coast and will wrap up this fall in beautiful California.
Beach Nationals also welcomes the United States Marine Corps as the official title sponsor for this year’s event! The Marines have long been “kings of beach combat”, and having them as part of the event adds even more excitement.
Another special event at this years championships will be the first ever “Ultimate X” International Beach Duals. Athletes from Barbados and Jamaica will face off against an all-star American team in a new dual meet format Friday night at the World Famous Lazy Pirate! The first 100 athletes to check in Friday at the Lazy Pirate will get a FREE Event T-Shirt! Custom Beach Nationals Board Shorts will also be for sale!
