Tsunami of Beach Opportunities Starting to Swell
Beaches NEAR YOU– The 2026 USA Beach Wrestling Tour of America is coming together, with nearly a dozen events already locked in, and several more in the final planning stages for later this summer and fall.
Something old…
Back again for 2026 are familiar staples such as Fargo Beach, Midwest Beach Nationals, and of course Carolina Beach and Huntington Beach. Many other repeat events such as Nashville, New Orleans, and Corpus Christi are expected to finalize details in the coming weeks.
Something new…

Among several new events for 2026 are stops in Toledo, Ohio, Quad Cities, Iowa, and Long Beach, Washington.
There are many other new events popping up everywhere including dual team championships in Kentucky, events in Massachusetts and New York, and Georgia has recently announced several events for the summer! Expect the list of beach events to continue to swell as more states add events to keep up with the increasing demand for this fast growing style of wrestling action. The growth of the popular summer series has also begun attracting sponsors, including Brute Beach Wrestling, which has partnered to become the official sponsor of the 2026 Tour of America Series.
International Opportunities
The international opportunities are abundant this season as well. Pan American and Continental championships for U15, U17, U20, and Seniors are all on the docket (U17 has already been held due to it being the qualifying event for the 2026 Youth Olympics in Dakar, Senegal). The Beach World Series has several new stops for their tour this year, including new locations for the U17 championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. And of course the excitement of the 2026 Youth Olympics where beach wrestling will be the only discipline of wrestling featured in the competition.
USA Beach Wrestling will also be assisting with athletes attending the FISU University Beach Games in Portugal this September, as well as putting together the largest ever American delegation to the Barbados Beach Wrestling Open in late October.
