Popularity of Beach Wrestling Leads to Expansion of Series!
The Inaugural USA Beach Wrestling Tour of America was a huge success last season! Eleven stops from Carolina to California helped introduce wrestlers from across the nation to this exciting emerging style of wrestling.
This season the Tour will return to most of the original stops, but additional stops are in the works as more locations clamor for a chance to bring the excitement of beach wrestling to their area.
Six of the original tour stops have already been confirmed, including: US Beach Nationals in Carolina Beach,NC, Fargo Beach Nationals in Fargo, ND, KY Beach Open in Louisville, KY, Buckeye Beach Bash in Loveland,Ohio, The Kraken Beach Wrestling Championships in Rathbun Lake, Iowa, and Midwest Beach Nationals in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. More original events are expected to be confirmed in the coming days, as well as the announcement of several exciting new stops for the series.
Another exciting development to be looking for this spring are many more local events, as well as state championships and qualifying events. Numerous states including California, Virginia, and Washington have expressed plans to send national teams to Carolina Beach in May.
Also in the works is the possibility of INTERNATIONAL competition coming HERE TO THE US!!!
