Beach Wrestling World Series 2023 Announced!!

First Two Stops in Argentina and Singapore To Determine ANOC World Game Participants in BALI! In exactly two months, the 2023 Beach Wrestling World Series will return for its fourth season, expanding its reach with first ever event in Asia and a return to South America. Already the fastest growing style on the United World Wrestling (UWW) calendar, beach wrestling gets underway in a brand new location as the season opener takes place in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 7th-8th May, following on from the conclusion of Wrestling’s Senior Pan-American Championships, a first return to the continent for the World Series since the inaugural season in 2019. KY Beach Wrestling is a Big Hit in Louisville!

The first every Beach wrestling event in the Bluegrass State was a smash hit with participants from seven states! The field included numerous Kentucky state and regional champions, multiple jiujitsu black belts , and several seasoned collegiate athletes . All total, approximately sixty five participants came out to experience the first of its kind event in Kentucky. Organizers brought great music, and beautiful weather , as well as prize money for the senior winners, a first for the Tour of America this season. Two Time state champion Devon Herron of North Hardin High School scored an impressive win in the finals of the senior middleweight division in one of the many exciting matches that took place throughout the day. World Team Slots Remain For Beach Championships (updated 7/26)

The United States is looking to field its largest team ever for a Beach Wrestling World Championships,a and there are still a couple of days to register for the remaining unclaimed slots for the event. The event is a self-funded trip and requires a passport to travel to Romania. The deadline to register through USA Wrestling is July 26. Fargo Summer Showcase Takes Tour of America To the Epicenter of Summer Wrestling The Beach Wrestling Tour of America is making a stop at the Epicenter of Summer Wrestling-Fargo, North Dakota. Long known as the home for 16U/Junior Nationals, this year will mark the first time Beach Wrestling has made an appearance alongside arguably the largest and best known tournament in the world. The Summer Showcase event will take place on Friday, July 15th, and is open to wrestlers of ALL ages. UPDATE: Weigh-ins for Friday will be held 6pm-6:45pm at the Gastropub Volleyball Complex located at 3234 43rd St S Fargo, ND 58104. 6:30-7:30pm will be “open sand” for wrestlers to practice, play around, experiment, warm up, etc. At 7:30 we will have a short rules/demonstration for everyone, and we will get started with competition around 7:45-8pm.
