New Stops Join Familiar Faces!
The list of 2024 USA Beach Wrestling Tour of America events is now set, and this year’s series sees several new stops joining some of the original tour events. Participants will earn points at each stop along the series. NEW for 2024 any wrestler who participates in at least two tour events during the season will have any points earned at the 2024 Beach Nationals doubled!
Iowa has been a beach wrestling tour stop from the beginning, but this year the Iowa event moves to Independence, Iowa July 3rd. Independence hosts one of the most exciting 4th of July celebrations in America, and beach wrestling will add even more excitement this year. Both individual AND dual team competitions are scheduled for what promises to be an All-American Beach Bash.
Also new this year will be the tour’s first-ever stop in Texas. Corpus Christi’s McGee Beach will be the site of this Gulf Coast clash August 24th.
Other new stops include Myrtle Beach, SC as well as Chicago, Illinois.
Beach wrestling will return for a 3rd consecutive year to the schedule of events in Fargo, ND, with a feature dual meet between Team Missouri and Team Michigan slated for Sunday, July 14th.
These newcomers will join tour favorites like Carolina Beach Nationals, Kentucky Beach Open, Biloxi Beach Sand Jam, Midwest Beach Nationals, and the Joe Boone Extravaganza.
Also for the first time ever Beach Nationals will head to California August 17th in Huntington Beach! This marks the first time ever for the Championships appearance in California, which promises to be one of the largest events ever in America Beach Wrestling history.
