Inaugural Dual Event Kicks Off Beach Nationals Weekend! Carolina Beach, NC- International athletes from Barbados and Jamaica banded together and scored victory in the first ever Ultimate X Dual competition. The format featured four athletes for each team, including an age group girl and boy, and 2 senior level athletes for each team. Wrestlers squared off in a best of three series with each other, with each point in competition being scored for their team, plus bonus points depending on the type of win. In the U15 Women’s match up Rebecca Williams of Barbados scored a 3-0 decision over Lena Underbakke of Ohio in round one, and then followed with a 5-0 victory in round two. Kodi Marshall used his experience in the sand to score a 3-0 decision over hometown crowd favorite Mac Kopelman of Wilmington in round one
